North Second Street Project

This large historical property is located along Second Street between Race and Arch streets, adjacent to Elfreth's alley, the oldest continuous living residential street in the U.S.

Existing buildings total 25,000 Square Feet plus full basements.

Beginning in the fall of 2001, the property will be completely renovated into 14 apartments (8 BI-Level) and approximately 4,000 Square Feet of commercial space. All apartment units will have high ceilings, original hardwood floors, original restored windows and amenities such as high tech kitchens with islands, washers and dryers. All units are are wired with cable for both high speed internet and TV, and sophisticated electricity, security and alarm systems.

This project is the second significant historic project to be developed by this group with the Textile Commission buildings along Chestnut/Strawberry streets currently under construction.

The Textile Commission Project is comprised of 23 residential units and over 6,500 SF of commercial space. Occupancy is expected in fall of 2001.
